How many solutions are there?

The conjecture (that hasn't been proven) is that every integer that does not equal 4 or 5 mod 9 has infinitely many solutions (integers that = 4 or 5 mod 9 are proven to have no solutions). Parametric equations for 1 and 2 have been found that generate infinitely many solutions for those values but it is otherwise an open question.
