Right, it's easier to have an SR-IOV situation with an integrated GPU that doesn't have it's own VRAM.
That's not the usual situation for people that are trying to use this scheme.

Yes, this is true, I use my on-board Intel graphics card for my host, and my Nvidia card for my guest operating system.
