This has to be a joke. One way or the other.


I would hope so, but I can see it in an environment where you're penalized for "incidents". Take the AWS dashboard, it almost never show any downtime and based on comments on HN that's because it would have a negative on the team in charge of the failing service.


The anxiety in your comment is almost palpable. Let me heighten it a bit. Some time ago, there was a post about obtaining minimal code coverage.
